(CHES, Inc.), after recognizing a need for more extensive Homeownership Preservation services within the Kansas City community. Today Coley teaches within his organization, and independently as a consultant for other nonprofits; he is a member of The Missouri Homeownership Preservation Network (MoHPN), and is currently developing an innovative approach to nonprofit services within his community.

Prior to Co-Founding CHES, Inc. in 2010, Ron had 15 years experience in residential and commercial real estate and lending. He grew up in an entrepreneurial household, where he was part of a successful family business for 30 years. His prior business experience, along with a lifelong passion for helping others to achieve their goals was a catalyst for the creation of Credit & Homeownership Empowerment Services, Inc. (CHES, Inc.).
Launched in 2010 after a discussion regarding the need for a holistic approach to assist those negatively impacted by the financial crisis, CHES, Inc. has successfully grown to include a multitude of HUD approved housing, financial, credit, and, new in 2017, business related education, counseling and coaching services. CHES, Inc., which began as a one-room office, recently acquired and rehabbed a 5,000 sq. ft. building to house its new offices, complete with conference areas, community resource computers and a Wi-Fi ready classroom. CHES, Inc. now serves over 600 families annually.
